Welcome To The Hecht Ribas Group!
Life can be overwhelming. We have to face whatever life sends us, tolerate uncertainty, forgive our own mistakes, go after what we want, and take care of the people we love—with or without the experiences that bring the strengths and skills required. Sometimes it’s all too much for one person to take, especially if the past is still unresolved.
Each of us is only human, and without enough support we develop patterns like depression, anxiety, addiction, and feeling stuck. Sometimes our marriages or intimate relationships aren’t working the way we would like, or we’re struggling with having children, or with raising the ones we have. Sometimes we’re trying to adapt to a world that just doesn’t seem to make sense. That’s what therapy is for.

You’re safe with us
It’s a safe, totally private environment in which to have the kinds of conversations that make a difference. By working with an experienced, trained professional, you can heal old wounds, resolve current crises, build resilience, clarify your goals, and begin to thrive and flourish. Whatever you’re coping with, we can work together to turn pain into wisdom, fear into wonder, judgement into acceptance, and resentment into compassion. All it takes is the same courage you’ve shown by seeking therapy, the same curiosity about how much better life might become with a different approach. We see each person as unique, and we respect both your suffering and your strength.
What can therapy do for you?
Therapy can be a very helpful tool for many people who are struggling with mental health issues, relationship problems, or other personal challenges. Here are some of the ways therapy can help:
Provide a safe and non-judgmental space: Therapy can offer a safe and confidential space where you can speak openly and honestly without fear of judgment.
Help you gain insight: Therapy can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, and your thought patterns. This can help you identify patterns of behavior that may be holding you back and work towards making positive changes.
Develop coping skills: Therapists can teach you skills and techniques to help you cope with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
Improve communication: Therapy can help you improve your communication skills, which can be beneficial for personal and professional relationships.
Provide emotional support: Therapy can be a source of emotional support, providing you with a listening ear and a caring presence during difficult times.
Promote personal growth: Therapy can help you identify your strengths and areas for improvement, and work towards personal growth and self-improvement.
Overall, therapy can be an effective way to address mental health concerns, improve relationships, and enhance overall well-being.
